A Wacky Walker isn't used in agility competition. It is used to help make a dog more aware of his back feet. These two were set up on a police dog course, so you can guess that they are fairly advanced. Think of a ladder with raised rungs, or what a ladder up the side of a boat looks like. For the beginner the rungs are all the same height, are parallel, and the same distance apart. As the dog gains skill either vary the height of the rungs, or the distance between them, or the angles between them. As the dog progresses further vary more than one of these factors. Finally begin to raise the whole thing off the ground. Drill through end caps for PVC pipe and screw the end caps to a one foot wide board. That way you can fasten the "rungs" to a solid surface.
