Lodging
Ask what information they need re the show site
Provide this information:
- the rings are 100x110 big.
- We can get any equipment except for the NADAC tire
- restricted to a max of three open tunnels in each ring.
- ring format (by jump height?)
Request equipment lists
Need copy/fax of Saturday AM courses
lunch/snack/drink preferences.
- Judges day-of hospitality. Someone to keep the judges supplied with beverages
and snacks at their ring, and make sure they're eating and drinking right,
and make sure they get lunch.
- Judges lodging. In general the hotels in Hayward may not be suitable. Some
have stayed at a B&B near Karey. If the judges bring dogs, then other arrangements
are needed. Sometimes the Ethertons have offered to house one. The Hilton
out in Pleasanton has also been used Wherever they stay someone will need
to make the reservations and arrange transport to and from the show site.
- Judges transportation. Their air travel needs to be arranged - usually they'll
do this themselves but we can offer to pay for it directly. Find someone to
get/take them from/to the airport.
- Judges dinner?
- Judges gifts. Budgeted about $40 per judge. Make sure the gift is one they
can pack for airplane travel.
